Cove Artist

Melena Neuenschwander

Concrete Art

Melena Neuenschwander is an Ohio-based artist whose creative path led from painting, carving, sketching, and photography to concrete. Inspired by nature, travel, and the beauty of everyday places, she creates work that reflects the feeling of a place and the memory of it. Her concrete art is offered in three techniques: Natural Concrete, which is raw and elemental; Pigmented Concrete, which uses earthy color blended into the mix; and Gallery Collections, which are carefully layered by hand to create one-of-a-kind textures and subtle variations. Her most recent collection, Cove Gallery Collection, was inspired by Cove Gallery at Bradenton Beach and features aqua blues, sandy browns, vases, accent bowls, portly beach birds, and bowls with turquoise gemstone accents cast into the concrete.
